This page documents the real opt-in process for YichusTree Family Reminders. Users enroll on the live Signup page using the same disclosure shown below.

How users opt in
Customers create an account at https://yichustree.com/signup (or /signup). SMS enrollment is optional and separate from accepting the Terms of Service and from the newsletter checkbox.
- Provide a mobile phone number (with country code)
- Check the SMS consent box (never preselected)
- Read the disclosure covering birthdays, Yahrzeits, and family events
Entering a mobile number alone does not imply SMS consent. If the consent box is checked, a valid mobile number is required.

The block below mirrors the controls and wording used on the live Signup page. The checkbox is unchecked by default.
YichusTree Family Reminders (optional)
Include country code. Optional unless you opt in to text messages. Entering a number alone does not enroll you in SMS.
The SMS consent checkbox is never preselected. SMS consent is separate from Terms of Service acceptance and from newsletter signup.
Message types
- Birthday congratulations and advance birthday reminders
- Yahrzeit (death anniversary) reminders
- Other family-event reminders the user enables
Messages are recurring automated informational reminders. Message frequency varies based on the occasions in the user's family trees and the settings they choose. Msg & data rates may apply.
STOP and HELP
- Reply STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to cancel
